Living Mercy

In the Year of Mercy, on September 25, 2016, men and women in Consecrated Life and the Jubilarians of 25, 50, 60, 65, 70, 75 & 80 Anniversary of Profession were welcomed to celebrate with Bishop William Waltersheid Sunday’s noon Mass at St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh.

Our two Jubilarians—Sister Lucille and Sister Geraldine, on their 70 Anniversary of Profession—and five other Sisters of our Community with their Chaplain Father T. Kirby went to Pittsburgh at St. Paul Cathedral for this occasion.

Although there met many religious people from different religious institutes with different charisms, yet we connected the unity of witnessing to the world "Living Mercy".

Auxiliary Bishop William J. Waltersheid encouraged us to walk faithfully on the path of our consecrated life. He also thanked each consecrated person for fruitful cooperation and living Mercy among people.

The Bishops and the Church of Pittsburgh took the opportunity to thank all consecrated men and women but especially each Jubilarian and to congratulate them on their special Jubilee celebration. “You have been, and are, a rich source of blessing to our church through your presence, prayer, ministry and faithful commitment.”

After Holy Mass there was a nice reception, a tasty meal, opportunity to talk with different religious women, gifts, and certifications for Jubilarians.

Thank You, God for this grace and thanks to all who prepared this nice celebration.

                                Congratulations to the Jubilarians.
Thank you for your witness of Consecrated Life and Living Mercy.
We ask for you graces and gifts needed in everyday life.
